SOURCE: Solutions from Our Country’s Entrepreneurs
SOURCE is cultivating the US entrepreneurial economy. The initiative connects entrepreneurs building market-based solutions to issues affecting low-wealth Americans with the investment capital, mentoring, and support needed to grow their businesses.
This is the time and place. Building on the energy of the Global Innovation Summit and Global Innovation Week, the initial introduction of SOURCE demonstrates a strategy for fostering entrepreneurial ecosystems across the US – and we’re excited to get started in Silicon Valley.
The first SOURCE cohort of entrepreneurs will run in partnership with eBay and will be focused on financial services and technologies that enhance the financial security of low-wealth individuals. SOURCE will expand the reach of Investors’ Circle’s Bay Area local network, growing a richer community of resources to support SOURCE enterprises and other local high-impact companies.
To learn more about the organizations involved in this collaborative,
SOURCE is a partnership between The Hitachi Foundation, Investors’ Circle, and Village Capital, with support from the Rockefeller Foundation and theSorenson Global Impact Investing Center.
