The Global Innovation Summit in Silicon Valley on July 16-18, 2012 brought together 400 "doers" from 49 countries, representing governments, corporations, venture capital, NGOs, startups, and academia who seek to cultivate innovation ecosystems.

The event focused on practical solutions that leaders can implement to: cultivate innovative behavior, stimulate the creation of new products, and spur sustainable economic growth in companies, communities, and countries. The location was the San Jose Marriott in the heart of the Valley.
